Abstract
U ovom radu će se obraditi stabilizacijski učinak geomreža u slojevitom tlu prilikom gradnje prometnica. U prvom djelu rada objasnit će se što su to geosintetici, njihova proizvodnja, njihov sastav, koja sui m svojstva te njihova uporaba u građevinarstvu. Obradit će se glavni mehanizmi djelovanja geosintetika uslijed kojih nastupaju ojačanja tla, zbog kojih danas vidimo široku primjenu geosintetika u građevinarstvu. Rad će se posebno posvetiti značaju geomreža kao podgrupi geosintetika. Naglasak ovog rada će biti na ispitivanju učinkovitosti geomreže na stupanj zbijenosti odnosno na modul stišljivosti. Ispitivanja su se provodila u labaratorijskim uvjetima pomoću statičke kružne ploče. Na kraju rada će se dati zaključak o važnosti i utjecaju geosintetika/geomreža u građevinarstvu.
