Abstract
Potresno djelovanje pripada najsloženijoj skupini od svih mogućih djelovanja na konstrukciju tijekom njezinog uporabnog vijeka. Uz sva dinamička djelovanja pa tako i potres vežemo pojam rezonancije kao moguće pojave. Povijest nas uči katastrofalnim posljedicama djelovanja potresa koje brojimo u ljudskim žrtvama i materijalnim štetama. Ukoliko uz sam intenzitet potresa dođe do pojave rezonancije, tada su razmjeri katastrofe još veći. Prilikom projektiranja konstrukcije otporne na potres znamo kako u najvećem broju slučajeva linearni modeli nisu dostatni kako bi opisali ponašanje konstrukcije, jer u konstrukcijskim elementima dolazi do nelinearnog ponašanja. Stoga, u ovom radu ćemo se koristiti nelinearnim numeričkim modelima pri dinamičkoj analizi konstrukcije. Modeli su zamišljeni kao armirano-betonski okviri, koji se međusobno razlikuju po katnosti, te tako generiraju različite vlastite periode. Za simuliranje potresnog djelovanja na modele koristit će se stvarni zapisi potresa iz Europske baze potresa. Potrebno je pronaći zapise potresa čiji će period biti dovoljno blizu periodu modela, kako bi mogli promatrati utjecaj rezonancije. Cilj ovog rada je predvidjeti kako se konstrukcija ponaša pod djelovanjem potresa, kolika oštećenja potres uzrokuje, te kako period potresa utječe na pojavu rezonancije.
Abstract (english)
Earthquake belongs to the most complex group of all possible loads on the structure during its life. Resonance is associated with all dynamic loads as a possible phenomenom, including earthquakes. History teaches us the catastrophic consequences of the effects of earthquakes that we count in human casualties and material damage. If resonance occurs with the intensity of the earthquake, then the scale of the catastrophe is even greater. When designing an earthquake-resistant structure, we know that in most cases linear models are not sufficient to describe the behavior of structures, because non-linear behavior occurs in structural elements. Therefore, in this paper we will use nonlinear numerical models in the dynamic analysis of structures. The models are conceived as reinforced concrete frames, which differ from each other in terms of storeys, so that they generate different periods. Actual earthquake records from the European Earthquake Database will be used to simulate the earthquakes on the model. It is necessary to find earthquake records whose period will be close enough to the model period, in order to be able to observe the influence of resonance. The aim of this paper is to predict how the structure behaves under the earthquakes, how much damage is done to the structure, and how the period of the earthquake affects the occurrence of resonance.
