Abstract
Ovim radom su predstavljeni sanitarni uvjeti u siromašnim i nerazvijenim područjima svijeta, problemi koji pritom nastaju te zahtjevi i ograničenja za donošenje mogućih rješenja s inženjerskog gledišta. Proveden je proces optimalizacije hidrotehničkog sustava na formiranom matematičkom modelu za uvjete odabrane lokacije. Teorijski dio rada opisuje pojam hidrotehničkog sustava, njihovu uporabu i razvoj kroz povijest, metodu optimalizacije hidrotehničkog sustava te moguću primjenu pri projektiranju. Od svih hidrotehničkih sustava, odabran je sustav odvodnje otpadnih voda, pri čemu su detaljno opisane sve vrste takvih sustava. Potom je predstavljena projektna lokacija te su opisani svi parametri potrebni za projektiranje na zadanoj lokaciji. Praktični dio rada odnosi se na proces projektiranja kanalizacijskog sustava za predmetnu lokaciju, formiranje matematičkog modela te naknadno provođenje analiza izvedivosti. Glavni cilj ovoga rada je približiti sanitarne probleme određenih područja, ponuditi moguća rješenja uz provedbu metode optimalizacije te naglasiti važnost ˝low-cost˝ kanalizacijskih sustava u rješavanju takvih i sličnih problema.
Abstract (english)
This thesis intends to introduce sanitation sites in low-income, poor areas, address its problems and needs, show possible options and offer feasible solutions from engineering point of view. Thesis presents the process of optimization of hydrotechnical system within the boundaries of such specific locations or sites. In the theoretical part the term hydrotechnical system is described, its development throughout the history, the method of optimization and its application to the system design. From all types of hydrotechnical systems the water sewerage system is chosen and different types are introduced and described in detail. At the end the location design is introduced with specific requirements and restrictions. The practical part deals with system design for specified location, development of the model and its analysis. The main aim of this thesis is to introduce problems in specific regions, offer possible solutions, use method of system optimization, and emphasize importance of ˝lowcost˝ hydrotechnical systems in solving such and similar problems.
