Abstract
Motel je, u suvremeno doba, jedna od najatraktivnijih i gostima najpoželjnijih vrsta objekata za smještaj. U istraživačkom je dijelu rada ponuđena analiza motela s obzirom na povijest njihova nastanka, razlike s hotelom te pregled osnovnih pogodnosti koje moteli nude. Da bi se što uspješnije prikazale značajke motela i potvrdila njihova obilježja, autor rada nudi idejni projekt motela smještenog uz jezero Petnja pokraj Završja u Brodsko-posavskoj županiji uz opis samog prostora.
