Abstract
Tehnička je struka, osobito graditeljska, znatno optimizirala rješenja pojavom geosintetika. Ovi su materijali infiltrirani u svaku sferu graditeljstva a naročito niskogradnju, stoga bi teško bilo zamisliti izgradnju svih vrsta prometnica i infrastrukturnih projekata općenito, uređenje armiranog tla i odlagališta otpada, izvođenje hidrotehničkih zahvata i izolacije objekata bez korištenja geosintetika. Razlozi tako široke primjene ovih materijala proizlaze iz njihovih karakteristika (višestruko zadovoljavaju standarde), jednostavnosti ugradnje, korištenja prirodnih materijala koji osiguravaju uštedu, estetskog izgleda te konačno znatno niže cijene gotove građevine. U ovom diplomskom radu je analizirana i opisana problematika trenja geosintetika i tla, iskustva sa načinima, pokusima i primjerima ispitivanja, uređaji i materijali vezani za ispitivanje te usporedba s poznatim rezultatima iz literature.

The tehnical profession, especially civil engineering, has been significantly optimized by the appearance of geosynthetics solutions. These materials are infiltrated into every sphere of civil engineering, water and traffic infrastructure in particular, therefore, it would be hard to imagine the construction of all types of roads and infrastructure projects in general, regulation of reinforced soil and landfills, the performance of hydro-tehnical procedures and isolation of facilities, without the usage of geosynthetics. The reasons for such widespread usage of these materials results from their characteristics ( multiple indulgence of the standards) ease of installation, usage of natural materials which provide savings, aesthetic design and finally considerably lower prices of finished building. In this thesis are analyzed and described friction problems of geosynthetics and soil, experience with the ways, experiments and examples, tests, devices and materials related to the experiments and comparasion with known results in the literature.
