Abstract
Mnoge statistike i iskustva pokazala su visoku razinu sigurnosti kružnih raskrižja. Postoji značajna veza između oblikovnih elemenata i sigurnosti prometa u kružnim raskrižjima. Prometna sigurnost odabranih kružnih raskrižja prikazana je pomoću apsolutnih i relativnih pokazatelja. Postojeća istraživanja na temu sigurnosti cestovnog prometa navode kako vozačeva percepcija sigurnosti ima važan utjecaj na njegovo ponašanje u vožnji. U radu je analizirana percepcija sigurnosti kružnih raskrižja iz perspektive prometnih korisnika. Subjektivna percepcija korisnika ispitana je anketom na 400 ispitanika. Anketa obuhvaća subjektivnu percepciju rizika u osječkoj gradskoj mreži i na odabranim kružnim raskrižjima. Percepcija rizika obuhvaća emotivno baziranu percepciju rizika (osjećaj nesigurnosti), kognitivno bazirana percepcija rizika (procjena vjerojatnosti događaja prometne nesreće) i osjećaj zabrinutosti.

Many statistics and experience have shown a high level of traffic safety of roundabouts. There is a significant connection between the design elements and traffic safety in roundabouts. Traffic safety of the selected roundabouts is presented by absolute and relative indicators. The existing researches on the subject of traffic road safety says that driver's perception of risk has an important influence on his driving behaviour. This paper analyzes the perception of safety of roundabouts from the perspective of traffic participants. Subjective perception of safety have been studied by surveying 400 respondents. The questionnaire encompasses the subjective perception of risk in the urban network of Osijek in general and at the five selected roundabouts. Risk perception includes emotionally based risk perception (feeling of insecurity), cognitively based perception of risk (assessment of probability of a traffic accident ) and a sense of concern.
