Quality control plays a very important role in the production and use of products. In order to achieve it, as well as manage and control it, it is necessary to be organized and educated, and to set the management mode - to form a quality control system. Quality control system is an organized set of knowledge applied with the aim of making quality products and actions taken to achieve it. It is built and developed in accordance with legal regulation and the system of norms that serve as guidelines for the system setup. Quality delivers satisfaction and security to all participants in the system. The result of establishing a system of quality control is documentation. A documented system of quality control is a collection of internal regulations that describe the entire business operations and the improvement of business quality. Quality management in construction projects requires a special procedure for each project because they vary in size, schedule of project operations and their interconnection. This paper analyzes quality plan and its content and shows its role in achieving quality during the execution of reinforced concrete works. Quality plan is an integral part of the quality management system of a given construction company. The term quality is described and quality management criteria are defined as an integral part of project management. Quality plan is used to plan, secure and show the scope and methods of quality control that the contractor intends to undertake. With this document the contractor elaborates to the investor and the designer on how he will implement quality control by citing the technology he will use, the activities he will undertake and how it will be documented with the aim of achieving the quality level required by the project. In a construction project, such a plan ensures: completion within a given deadline and according to the estimated financial resources, efficient spending of resources, meeting the projected and prescribed technical conditions to the satisfaction of the client and the investor. The standards that provide guidance for the quality system documentation and quality plans are analyzed. General definitions and quality plans content are given. The legislative framework regulating the execution of concrete structures and the confirmation of the conformity of concrete is defined. Legal obligations and responsibilities of the participants in the construction of concrete structures are described.
