Abstract
U ovom se radu nakon kratkog uvoda analizira pročelje kao element zgrade, nakon toga slijedi prikaz pročelja kroz povijest. Kronološki ćemo upoznati materijale od prvih upotreba za izolaciju pročelja, preko upotreba sad već klasičnih materijala, a posebna pozornost biti će posvećena modernim inovativnim materijalima koji već imaju primjenu u izolaciji zgrada. Spomenuti će se i materijali koji će svoju primjenu naći u budućnosti toplinskog izoliranja zgrada. Na kraju će u tri primjera projektne realizacije biti prikazani detalji korištenja i ugradnje modernih materijala za izoliranje pročelja zgrada.
