Abstract
Ovaj završni rad istražuje nastanak i primjenu betona visokih čvrstoća u građevinskoj industriji. Betoni visokih čvrstoća karakteriziraju se izvanrednim mehaničkim svojstvima, uključujući visoku čvrstoću, otpornost na habanje i dugotrajnost. Rad analizira osnovne komponente betona visokih čvrstoća, uključujući cement, agregat i dodatke poput silicijske prašine i superplastifikatora. Nadalje, opisano je projektiranje sastava betonske mješavina te se analiziraju prednosti i izazovi ovog materijala. Izdvojena su svojstva svježeg i očvrsnulog betona visoke čvrstoće i uspoređena sa svojstvima betona normalne čvrstoće. Navedene su i specifičnosti transporta, ugradnje i njege koje su vrlo važne za ovakav materijal.
Abstract (english)
This final paper examines the development and application of high-strength concrete in the construction industry. High-strength concretes are characterized by extraordinary mechanical properties, including high compressive strength, abrasion resistance, and durability. The paper analyzes basic components of high-strength concrete, including cement, aggregates, and additives such as silica fume and superplasticizers. Furthermore, it describes the composition design of concrete mixtures and examines the advantages and challenges of this material. The properties of fresh and hardened high-strength concrete are highlighted and compared with those of normal-strength concrete. Specific considerations for the transportation, placement, and curing of high-strength concrete are also discussed, as these are crucial aspects when working with such a material.
