Abstract
U okviru ovog diplomskog rada provedena je ocjena potresnog ponašanja zidane zgrade iz 17. stoljeća prije i nakon provedene konstrukcijske obnove, koja se nalazi na području Starog grada Dubrovnika. Konstrukcijska obnova promatrane građevine obuhvaćala je ojačanje poprečnih nosivih kamenih zidova armiranobetonskom oblogom te sprezanje postojećih međukatnih drvenih grednika s tankom armiranobetonskom pločom. Na osnovu projektne dokumentacije ustupljene od strane Zavoda za obnovu Dubrovnika, upotrebom isključivo plošnih elemenata izrađeni su proračunski prostorni modeli prema metodi konačnih elemenata, na osnovu kojih se provodila usporedba potresnog ponašanja promatrane građevine za postojeće stanje prije obnove i stanje nakon provedene konstrukcijske obnove. Informacije o promatranoj građevini poput materijalnih karakteristika primijenjenih materijala, prikupljene su na temelju povijesnih dokumenata, provedenih istražnih i znanstvenih radova te eksperimentalnih ispitivanja koje su prethodno obavili razni stručnjaci. Rezultati proračunske analize modela građevine nakon provedenih konstrukcijskih ojačanja pokazali su smanjenje osnovnog perioda vibriranja konstrukcije te smanjenje pomaka te normalnih i posmičnih naprezanja, čime se ukazuje na značajno poboljšanje potresne otpornosti promatrane građevine.
Abstract (english)
This master's thesis investigated the seismic behavior of a 17th century masonry building in the Old Town of Dubrovnik, before and after its restoration. The structural restoration of the building included the reinforcement of the transverse load-bearing stone walls with reinforced concrete diaphragms and the retrofitting of the existing wooden beam floors with a thin reinforced concrete slab. Based on the architectural documentation provided by the Institute for the Restoration of Dubrovnik, spatial models were created using only shell elements, utilizing the finite element method. These models were used to compare the seismic behavior of the building in its original state before the restoration with its state after the structural improvements. The information about the building, such as the material properties, was gathered from historical documents, previous investigations and scientific studies as well as experimental tests carried out by various experts. The results of the analysis of the building model after the structural reinforcements showed a reduction in the fundamental period and a decrease in displacements, normal and shear stresses, indicating a significant improvement in the seismic resistance of the observed building.
