Abstract
Postupak prikazuje određivanje vlažnosti u tlu postupnim sušenjem u mikrovalnoj pećnici, odnosno može li se koristiti kao zamjena za sušionik kada su potrebni brži rezultati. Treba istaknuti da ispitivanja u sušioniku prikazuju točnije rezultate. Određivanje vlažnosti je provedeno prema normi ASTM D2216. Postupak sušenja uzoraka tla obuhvaća nekoliko koraka. Prvo se uzima reprezentativni uzorak tla s terena. Nakon toga, uzorak se suši u mikrovalnoj pećnici kako bi se uklonila vlaga. Važno je koristiti posudu koja ne apsorbira mikrovalove. Uzorak se izlaže mikrovalovima sve dok masa ne postane konstantna, što ukazuje na potpuno sušenje. Paralelno s tim, drugi uzorak tla stavlja se u sušionik na određenu temperaturu kako bi se odredio postotak vlažnosti. Uzorak se suši obično na 105 celzijusa 16-24 sata, kako bi se sva nevezana voda iz pora odstranila. Nakon tog vremenskog intervala moguće je odrediti postotak vlažnosti.
Abstract (english)
This procedure outlines the determination of soil moisture through gradual drying using a microwave oven, assessing whether it can substitute for a conventional oven when faster results are required. It is important to note that testing conducted in a traditional oven provides more accurate results. Moisture determination was performed by the ASTM D2216 standard. The soil sample drying process involves several steps. First, a representative soil sample is taken from the field. After that, the sample is dried in a microwave oven to remove moisture. It is important to use a container that does not absorb microwaves. The sample is exposed to microwaves until its mass becomes constant, indicating complete drying. Parallel to this, another soil sample is placed in a drying oven at a specific temperature to determine the percentage of moisture. The sample is typically dried at 105 degrees Celsius for 16-24 hours to remove all free water from the pores. After this time interval, the moisture percentage can be determined.
