Abstract
Završni rad analizira sustave pročišćavanja otpadnih voda na području Velike Gorice, s posebnim naglaskom na usporedbu starih i novih metoda. Sustavi pročišćavanja otpadnih voda ključni su za održavanje ekološke ravnoteže i zdravlja stanovništva. U radu se detaljno istražuju tehnička rješenja koja su implementirana u starim sustavima, kao i napredne tehnologije korištene u novim postrojenjima. Korištene su metode analize učinkovitosti pročišćavanja, utjecaja na okoliš te ekonomske isplativosti. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na biološke procese, kemijske tretmane i inovativne tehnike kao što su membranski bioreaktori i UV dezinfekcija. Rezultati pokazuju značajna poboljšanja u kvaliteti pročišćavanja otpadnih voda s primjenom novih tehnologija, što rezultira smanjenjem zagađenja i boljom zaštitom vodnih resursa. Također, istražene su mogućnosti daljnje optimizacije sustava kroz primjenu novih tehnologija i poboljšanje postojećih procesa. Rad uključuje i studiju slučaja koja prikazuje praktičnu primjenu teorijskih saznanja na primjeru Velike Gorice, te predlaže konkretne mjere za unaprjeđenje sustava pročišćavanja otpadnih voda. Ova istraživanja mogu poslužiti kao smjernice za buduće projekte u sličnim urbanim sredinama.
Abstract (english)
In this final paper, wastewater treatment systems in the area of Velika Gorica were analyzed, with special emphasis on the comparison of old and new methods. Wastewater treatment systems are key to maintaining the ecological balance and health of the population. The paper examines in detail the technical solutions implemented in old systems, as well as the advanced technologies used in new plants. Methods of analysis of purification efficiency, environmental impact and economic profitability were used. Special emphasis is placed on biological processes, chemical treatments and innovative techniques such as membrane bioreactors and UV disinfection. The results show significant improvements in the quality of wastewater treatment with the application of new technologies, which results in a reduction of pollution and better protection of water resources. Also, the possibilities of further optimization of the system through the application of new technologies and improvement of existing processes were explored. The paper also includes a case study that shows the practical application of theoretical knowledge on the example of Velika Gorica, and proposes concrete measures to improve the wastewater treatment system. These studies can serve as guidelines for future projects in similar urban environments.
